We've reached a max number of teams and can't take any more. We're sorry, this is final. We have 42 teams signed up and if you want to change anything about your team (name, members) email freshmanparanoia@gmail.com. Also, money is due next Thursday (Dec. 9), pay Will Belliel, Ben Hogin, or Phil Spevok.

Alright guys my bad weve just got too many teams to play everyone.......heres what were gonna do were gonna have divisions of six and you play each team. once you play every team in division there wil be a seeded tournament with top 2 in each division competing

What is Paranoia?

Paranoia is a Nerf gun war. Each week teams will be paired up and go against each other. The matches are week long. For example, if there are 18 teams in the league, than there will be 9 matches going on each week, from Sunday morning to Saturday night. Each team consists of five people, of either gender. It can be an all boy team, an all girl team, or a co-ed team. Its $5 per person or $25 per team. For further information, read the previous posts, or look at our Rules page. Lock your doors and get shooting!

RULES

RULES (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

1. The objective is to "kill" every member of one randomly-assigned team per week. If you are dead, you are done for the week and can no longer kill members of the opposing team.

2. Games start on Monday at 12:01 AM, and end on Sunday at 11:59 PM. You may not kill anyone from the hours of 8:55-3:05when school is in session.

4. The bracket-style playoff schedule will be posted later.

5. Everyone needs to tell their parents about the game. This is not a joke.

6. Only authorized nerf or nerf-like guns will be permitted. No nerf footballs, nerf swords, BB guns, paintball guns, or real guns. Only nerf bullets are allowed.

7. If there is a dispute over whether someone has been shot, it is the shooter’s call. Honesty is the policy. Everything that you are wearing or holding is part of you. For example, if you get hit in the backpack, you are dead. If you get hit in the gun, you are also dead. If you are holding up a chair (shield) and the bullet hits the chair, you are dead. DEAD PLAYERS MAY NOT BE INVOLVED IN KILLING OTHER PLAYERS.

8. New Trier grounds are off limits. This includes all buildings or fields. Once off the curb surrounding New Trier, shooting is allowed. Also, you may not shoot people in houses of worship (ie. churches, synagogues, etc.).

9. NERF GUNS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT SCHOOL.

10. You may not be shot and killed if you are naked. This is a serious rule.

11. Ties are permitted during regular season play, but in the playoffs a rule to break ties will be implemented.

12. There are no other safety spots. You are allowed to be shot at work, sports, or anywhere else as long as you are off school grounds. Exception, you may not be shot during the duration of any New Trier sporting event, home or away. If for some reason you are nervous about being shot at some activity, you should not participate in the game.

13. You may be shot inside your home, however the commissioners cannot be liable for any incidents that may occur if anyone decides to break into opponents’ homes. You may not enter a home between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Please use common sense when considering whether or not to enter someone’s home. REMEMBER this is still illegal, so please again use your best judgement. If you do not know someone it's probably not a good idea.
